Rootbound is an animated title sequence for a fictional TV series that follows the story of a woman processing her family trauma while being secluded in her job as a groundskeeper. It uses vector illustration and the interaction of light in the environment to evoke emotions of isolation, alongside animated typography that echoes that movement.
